World Bank Staff Association Benefits at a Glance

Dear STCs and STTs,

The World Bank Staff Association (SA) is inviting the ST community in HQ to attend one of the webinars listed below for information on group health insurance plans for WB STs. Plans are offered through Kaiser Permanente (KP), an established insurer and healthcare provider. All plans are ACA compliant and include coverage for COVID-19.

Kaiser Permanente benefits continue to include coverage for Chiropractic and Acupuncture, IVF (Infertility), Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics and Orthotics, and Hearing Aids. Vision and dental plans offered through Ameritas are also available. The Ameritas plans are stand-alone benefits that can be purchased separately or in combination with any of the Kaiser Permanente medical plans.

Enrollments begin December 4, 2023, and will end December 22, 2023. Coverage is effective January 1, 2024.

NOTE: Enrolled STs must re-enroll in the current Kaiser Permanente/Ameritas insurance plans due to change in broker.

Benefits and Coverage: For details about coverage for each of the insurance plans, please contact Kaiser Permanente Member Services at 800-777-7902 or Ameritas at 800-300-9566 or Servarus systems at 855-363-0839.

ELIGIBILITY - Join the Staff Association: In order to be eligible to participate in this group insurance offer, and so that the Staff Association can regularly verify that you are indeed a WB consultant, you need to be an SA member. This is easy to do, and only costs a nominal $30 for a year’s membership. Click HERE to join.

The SA will be verifying membership. If you are not an SA member then you will receive an email reminding you to please activate your SA membership. If this is not completed within the timeframe established in the e-mail, the SA will notify the broker that the eligibility requirements are not met, and your policy will be canceled.

Questions regarding the plans should be directed to the providers directly. The SA cannot answer specific questions about the plans.

We hope you find these plans helpful for you and your families.
